The Candy Glamour has written a feature piece of Cara in their website.

The Candy Glamour is a blog for kids and teens as a source of inspiration and it is a brainchild of Daniela Golubeva, an international child model. It provides ideas for beauty, fashion, make-up and lifestyle. It also features motivational interviews of people small in size but with great ideas and very clear goals despite their young age.

The amazing Cara Korhonen, a true inspiration

Sometimes we meet truly amazing people. These wonderful people inspire others and are a perfect role model to follow.

I want to introduce you my friend Cara.  She is, without any doubt, one of those inspiring people. She is nice, sweet, beautiful and talented.

Cara

10-year old Cara, from NSW, Australia, is passionate about a healthy lifestyle. Her aim is to be a role model for young people by promoting health and fitness as a lifestyle and living an active life.

Her dream is to become a professional tennis player and a health advocate against the sedentary lifestyle so many young people now live. Just like me, she thinks kids these days spend too much time in front of the TV or playing videogames instead of having a more active and healthy lifestyle.

Cara and I wanted to do this interview so you can learn more about her.

TCG: Hi Cara. At what age did you started modelling and practicing sports?

Cara: I started swimming when I was 3 months old and then gradually started playing other sports. I was 4 years old when I started playing tennis and haven’t stopped.  I started acting when I was 9 years old.

TCG: As actor, what is the favorite modelling job you have done, or the one you are most happy with?

Cara:  The most memorable one is a TV program where the whole program was shot in one go without any retakes. It was fun and challenging.

TCG:  What sports do you practice? Do you have any hobbies or interests, like playing music, riding skates, etc?

Cara:  At the moment I play tennis and golf, practice yoga and swimming, as well as go to drama lessons. I also play a clarinet.
